Executive Officer. Manager for unit logistics and maintenance requirements for $45 million of equipment, managed a $320,000 maintenance budget and supervised a 9-man maintenance team
Tank Platoon Leader. Leader and trainer of 16 soldiers; responsible for over $7 million of equipment.

Leadership
Rated number one out of 32 Army Company commanders evaluated within a combat brigade and recommended for early promotion.
Instituted a policy of unit values and a common unit vision that yielded a dramatic 50% reduction in adverse disciplinary actions taken and a 20% increase in re-enlistment.
As a Lieutenant, was placed in a position normally held by a Major (2 pay grades higher) and performed very well at that skill level
Training/Educating
Developed a training program and supervised its implementation, resulting in a highly trained and cohesive team that set the standard within the battalion for maneuver (best of 12 platoons)
Trained and coached three customer service personnel in learning and applying new skill sets resulting in all of them receiving Trailblazer awards from senior management.

Creative Problem Solving
Designed a comprehensive store manager training guide where none had existed; it was used to train three new store managers and adopted and utilized within other divisions of the company.
Developed reconnaissance and surveillance procedures where none existed, greatly enhancing the brigades ability to maximize the deployment of its limited assets
Restructured maintenance tracking procedures improving recoverable parts turn-in from 65% to 100%. On-hand parts supply increased by 100% and combat readiness increased from 90% to 95%
Planning Skills
Developed curriculums and instructed over 150 college juniors and freshmen in army leadership, decision making, problem solving, ethics, physical fitness, and risk management / risk reduction.
Planned, created and executed a customer service training program for inside sales and counter personnel; trained over 20 inside sales people.
Currently plan, prepare and teach ½ dozen different Microsoft Office programs and business skills to various businesses as an independent trainer / educator for Executive Training Solutions
Created a division quarterly newsletter distributed to over 300 people, directed the publishing of six editions as the senior editor. The newsletter was recognized as one of the best in the company and copied by several other divisions
