• Software Engineer responsible for developing Synapse Technology’s Event Management web application. This included SQL Server database administration which involved setting up databases for various clients, as well as developing stored procedures and DTS packages to manage the data.

• Materials Control Clerk responsible for developing software reports using SQL Server and Crystal Seagate Reports to analyze crystal growth productivity.
March 1999 – August 2004 Anthem, Inc. Cincinnati, OH
• Software Engineer responsible for developing Anthem’s internal medical management software program, AMMS, using a complete software lifecycle including object oriented designing, coding, and testing. This tool supports the medical management of over 10 million members.
• Upgraded the AMMS application within the government-mandated deadline to accommodate new privacy regulations regarding HIPAA. The back-end server code was transitioned to Java, while using SOAP to talk to the front-end C++ client code.
• Developed real-time reports, using WebSqribe, that allowed users quick and easy access to data stored in a Sybase database pertaining to facility, doctor, and patient information. The company’s data was all stored on a Sybase database server.
August 1996 – March 1999 Digital Semiconductor Hudson, MA
• Product Engineer responsible for moving Digital’s Alpha microprocessor through design, manufacturing, debug, and customer satisfaction.
• Set up relational databases and analysis tools to analyze data for process enhancement. Enhanced skills using the SAS software tool to develop programs to query data from relational databases for internal company use.
