Project: DIRC Application
Description: DIRC application is used for grading of the images by the graders and doctors to analyze the patient eye. The sponsors send the patient’s confidential information along with the patient’s eye images. The DIRC application helps the sponsors to the send the information over the web. The graders and doctors at the reading center perform the processing of the images and store the result in the database.
Responsibilities:
Designed the Architecture of the DIRC application. The form lay out and the storage of data.
The Architecture was designed according to the standards specified by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Developed a user interface using ASP.Net, C# .Net for the sponsors to submit the patient information and images that are used for grading by graders and doctors.
Developed a user interface for the graders and doctors using ASP.NET, C# .Net
ADO.NET is used for connecting the SQL server.
Designed a database at the capture station to store the patient images.
Implemented form security by allowing authorized to access the web pages.
Implemented pattern matching algorithm to store patient’s confidential information.
Set up a network for the graders and doctors to communicate.
Performed testing of the application.
Performed systems maintenance.
HIPAA certified. (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
Environment: MS SQL server 2000, ASP.NET, C# .Net, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visual Studios .Net 2005.
