United States Army

United States Army, Alaska April 2003 – August 2005

Cook – prepare meals for troops, three meals a day, which includes short order line, outside line and main line. Implement safety standards and high quality food in the dining facility. Participate in the meals competition between the dining facilities in garrison.

United States Army, Iraq August 2005 – August 2006

Deployed to Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Worked with an airborne unit, my mission was to screen blue collar employee’s in order to work inside the military installation. Interview potential workers, appoint them in the jobs that match their skills. Oversaw the cooks in the dining facility. Help commanders view foreign documents through translation into English. Establish viable lines of communication between the commanders of United States Army and the notable figures in the Iraqi local community. Work as an interpreter for the United States Army, medical campaign. During their medical tour to the Iraqi community. Participating in military convoy, as escort to high ranking officer.

United State Army April 2007 – April 2008

Fort Riley, Kansas – I worked with military intelligence company. Conducted translation of Arabic documents . Teaching soldiers about Arabic language and Middle East customs in general.
May 2009- june 2011-
I get employed by global linguist solution company, get deployed to iraq for the second time, I worked as an interpreter supporting u.s army missions over there my duties is as follow:
1- translate key documents from English to Arabic and vice versa
2- translate during meetings between u.s high brass and their Iraqi counterpart.
3- participate in u.s army military convoy with the Iraqi security forces.
