Fiber Technician: November 2011- June 2011
Worked as a fiber Technician were I configured and installed Secure Alarmed Protective Distribution System. My duties were to install 48 strand and 4 strand Armored fiber cable for a SIPR and NIPR Network. This included testing installing, connecting,
and troubleshooting SIPR and NIPR fiber cable, junction boxes, lock boxes, ONTs, OLTs, Patch Panels, Splitters, wirer managers, and PDUs.
Also I build and install equipment racks, in all the CER/TERs Connecting fiber cable to pitch panels, installing them to equipment racks, and connected power to racks that housed equipment while grounding them. Also doing fire stopping for penetration, connected floor to floor TERs by the way of leader racks making sure they were tie wrapped down and was neatly laid out. Connected end user and phones to ONTs.
Repaired and connected fiber and SC connectors with Fan out Kit using UniCam Installation Tool, Continuity Test system and Visual Fault Locator

Worked as a Lead Technician on several project were I interacted with head IT personal and other office personnel. I coordinated the receiving, delivery, imaging, and repair for over 7000 computer systems while managing a crew of 10 or more Technicians. Basic job responsibilities were hardware software repairs.
