Gather/Generate test data, perform unit and regression testing. Participate in Formal Design QIs, Project Status meetings, Code Reviews, System Tests and Implementation of projects to fulfill Client requests.
• Research and produce Formal Designs when required. Perform Root Cause Analysis on test and production cycle abends or issues. Generate code fixes to correct issues reported by Clients via Problem Tickets.

Senior Programmer Analyst – Compliance Team September 2007 – May 2009
• Primary Focus: Research and create Formal Design for a new portal to accept multiple types of ACH (Automated Clearinghouse) payments. Develop new and modify existing Cyberlife COBOL, JCL, Procs to correctly interface with existing Cyberlife modules and downstream accounting systems. Perform all Unit Testing and participate in Formal Design, Code Reviews and System Testing.
• Design and develop enhancements and regulatory compliance remediation of existing Cyberlife, Surety and LBL In-House systems. COBOL based software utilizing static calls and segmented VSAM and flat files. Utilized IBM Migration Utility to convert Easytrieve Plus programs to COBOL. • Received Bravo award for my effort to automate Cyberlife payments and convert Paper Checks to EFT transactions.

Software Development Engineer II – Agent Transfers April 2006 – September 2007
• Primary Responsibility: Facilitate transfer of CSG client data from its current internal environment to a new client defined environment as per client specs. Improves their ability to manage their data and improve service to their customers.
• Generate initial reports for analysts to assist in project design. Modify CSG applications according to initial project designs. Run multiple String Tests as needed to identify additional client system requirements. Participate in Quality Inspections, QA testing and the transfer of client data in the production environment.

• Primary responsibility: Develop and Support new applications designed to deliver data from database sources.
• Develop, test, quality inspect and implement COBOL/DB2 online and batch applications. Completed assignments quickly, accurately and delivered quality product. Programmer Analyst/Data Analyst – Data Profiling
• Primary responsibilities: Extract, capture and evaluate client data held in FDR production cycles. Identify all non-standardized data as cleansing opportunities for the client. Assist product business units and teams with requests for further data analysis.
• Identify and resolve incorrect business descriptions, invalid field formats in documentation, missing edits and invalid values. Publish results via a Data Dictionary accessed by a centralized repository on First Data Intranet.
• Beta test new tools for First Data tools team and train profilers on use.
Programmer Analyst – Conversion Department
• Primary responsibilities: Verification of client’s legacy data and creating reports for analysis. Modify code templates per client specs and Unit Test code. Participate in Mock and Live conversions, assist with any post conversion issues. Developed edit programs for the department for use in the conversion process.
• Received Quantum award for role in largest conversion at that time.
Programmer Analyst – International New Business Development
• Primary responsibilities: Team developed and supported applications designed to interface files sent from Hang Seng Bank/Hong Kong to First Data.
