Project Description:
The project “Hermes” is a web based project that uses the Silverlight WCF RIA services to fetch data from a MSSQL Server and draw charts on the web browser. This project helps in maintaining the mobile communication network for the client “Softbank Mobile Corp.” in planning and optimizing their network to enhance their productivity and business.
Role:
• Installation of Oracle 11g Release2 & MSSQL Server 2008 R2 in Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 Professional operating systems
• Good understanding of MSSQL Server Architecture
• DB Management, Maintenance & Connectivity Issues Troubleshooting
• Installation of Visual Studio 2010 in windows 7 operating system
• Debugging the C# code delivered from Meritech and testing the functionality & features of Hermes tool.
• QA for Hermes Tool
• Running the test-bed environment in more than 3 consecutive windows machine.
• Configuring IIS 7.0 / 7.5 and binding SSL Certificate for Silverlight based web directory.
