2009 – 2010 Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer Synnex, Fremont, CA
Developing, implementing and maintaining test process instructions (TPI) for production.
Support production line with any technical issues, and ensure the lines run with out interruption.
Responsible for HDI creation, release, and verify the systems process.
Responsible for FW testing, and verification of the systems components. Conducts Failure Analysis (FA) on system level from Pilot run to production.

2008 – 2009 Senior Power Supply Test Engineer Netgear, San Jose, CA
Responsible for power supply qualification, utilize NHR5600 ATM to validate power supply per Netgear specification.
Define and review component specifications and release to Agile. Define and qualify second source, third source AVL.
Interface to project engineers, product line managers in assisting components selection.
Interface to ODM’s, and CM’s to qualify spec and resolve validating issues.
2001 – 2008 Product Development Test Engineer LeapFrog Enterprises, Emeryville, CA
Responsible for product test specs development. Successful transferred hundred of new products to CM’s oversea in the past several years.
Defined test cases to provide the highest production test coverage, prevent test escapes, maximize production, and minimize field returns.
Defined and validate product functional and quality tests to ensure products meet customers’ specifications.
Created production test plans, procedures, and trained Far East Engineers to implement in production lines.
Developed test scripts for software codes development. Validated codes and transferred to the Far East to support production test.
Review and validate test processes. Failure analysis, and resolve production issues.
Interface with program managers, R&D hardware engineers, and mechanical engineers to define test requirements for productions. DFX, DFT.

2000 – 2001 Hardware Test Engineer Cisco Systems, San Jose, CA
Responsible in test support of two small business models of routers from board level to component level. Victrola 1751 and Dorsey IAD1731 main boards.
Circuit design review and verification. Test routers, switches, wireless cards, and troubleshoot down to component level.
Install and bundle software for Gershwin ICS7750 server.
Interface with hardware, diag, NPIE, and mechanical groups to resolve problems. Develop, review, and implement test plans.
1989 – 2000 System Test Engineer Gregory Associates, San Jose, CA
Built and tested hundreds of PC’s, disk drive test equipments, servo writers for Conner Peripheral, Seagate Technology, and Western Digital. Installed and set up test equipments at customer sites. Installed software, configuration, update, maintain, on site services, test and troubleshoot down to components level.
