Translator March 2005 to January 2009

I started working for the United States armed forces in Iraq as an interpreter through L-3 communications Corporation since March 2005. I've worked with many American leaders in Iraq starting from the chief of Military Transition and Training team (MITT) team leaders and special forces. Global Linguist Solutions (G.L.S) corporation took over the contract for L-3 communications corporation around 2008. I ended up working for a battalion commander who is in charge of 800 U.S soldiers. I handled translation of conferences and large crowds up to 100 Iraqis and one-on-one meetings. While working as a translator I volunteered to work as an Iraqi cultural adviser. My contract was ended on January 2009. Currently I live in the U.S, I am ready to do any job involves Arabic to English translation and vice versa. Iraqi cultural advising would be my second skill to utilize.
