Powertrain Machinery Drawing Management Database Application Specialist
Mfg. Data Management and Warehouse group
* Develop, document and train other group members on how to use the database.
* Develop and Instruct plant site personnel in the effective use of the database.
* Develop training plans for plant floor personnel.
* Gather, prioritize & document requirements for database software enhancements and bugs.
* Develop business requirements for database implementation at plant sites.
* Lead & Coordinate User Team for Database Managers from all GMPT sites.
* Provide Drawing Specification support to GMPT ME’s at Supplier Line-up Meetings.
* Define requirements for update to drawing specification validation tools used by machine tool builders.
* Test and debug new software releases (database, validation tools).
* Research and gather data from Powertrain sites to build database structures.
* Provide global support & system training on-site as requested, including Mexico, Canada and China.

* Review mechanical and controls drawings for GMPT specifications in preparation for database loading
* Liaison with machine tool builders relative to drawing specification compliance.
* Troubleshoot and create programs to validate and repair AutoCAD files that would not load into the database.
* Resolve supplier drawing specification issues.

* Participated on the AquA 3 pilot program, PFMEA (training and testing).
