Captured, updated, reported all Air Expeditionary Forces (AEF) deployed personnel to AFNORTH, JADOC, NCRCC, and associated Sectors responsible to COMAFFOR for total force accountability. Dual hatted as NORAD/NORTHCOM's AFNORTH A1 Component Personnel Support for Contingency Operations (PERSCO) and Central Site as primary lead to AFPC AEF Center, ACC, AFRC, and ANG, for CMAS (MPA) and other Personnel/Finance/Force Protection related issues concerning Active Duty and Air Reserve Component (ARC) personnel tasked in support of AFNORTH AOR Homeland Defense operations (i.e. CBRNE, NSSE, JTF, AEF, and DSCA). Researched, validated, determined, and reported changes for AEF tasked requirement actions from Functional Account Managers (FAMs), tasked units, commanders, and deployed directorates, appropriately, to ensure credibility or correct discrepancies prior to entering information into JOPES/DCAPES and AEF Center thus preventing any delay or shortfall in deployed reporting. Created routine ad hoc reports (DRMD, ERMD, Alpha, SITREP, and JPERSTAT) utilizing Air Force, DOD, and commercial off the shelf Personnel skill sets for 1AF A1 Staff, Functional Account Managers (FAMs), and Directors, utilized in personnel management. Collected deployment discrepancies, coordinated with deployed commanders, and provided updates using Web based Deployment Processing Discrepancy Reporting Tool (DPDRT), an AEFC tracking tool, via secure network. Reviewed Operational plans relating to policies and procedures in support of physical and informational security ensuring all security measures were in place and completed for the A1 Classified Area per DOD and Air Force directives. Duties: Manager and adviser to the Mission Support Commander for over 100 users on the squadron's Novell Local Area Network infrastructure associated with the operation of the Air Force Personnel Center's automated personnel data system. Planned the administration and day-to-day operations creating and disseminating reports to inside (civilian and Military personnel offices) and outside agencies. Scheduled and provided training to all personnel administration necessary concerning the Personnel Concept III (PC-III) and Military Modernization (MILDMOD)/Military Personnel (MILPERS) automated personnel data systems. Detailed oriented; managed 100% accountability for inventory, maintenance, and support of $750K of computer system equipment. Diagnosed and evaluated automated personnel computer system related problems, recommending corrective actions to management and HQ Air Force Personnel Center. Innovative problem solving as illustrated in the discovery of a 5-minute fix for a base-wide PC problem that experts said would take over four hours to correct. Converted 40 modem clients to the base LAN eliminating severe bottlenecks to 80 telephone lines and saving the base thousands of dollars and personnel frustration. Single handedly installed 50 new LAN drops over the span of a 3 level office building during non-office hours limiting down time for system users. Duties: Responsible to 347th Mission Support Commander as Personnel Systems Manager and PC-III Gateway System Administrator (GSA) for the Consolidated Base Personnel Office (CBPO). Notably instrumental in the repair and improvement of the squadron's Network LAN Server by recommending and installing new Hard Drives with a Redundant Array software platform providing increased memory and quicker backup recoverability.
