My Role: I was to evaluate project designs and requirements. Then I would write a test script for test engineers with step by step instruction on how to test the project and to ensure that all requirements had been meet.
Key Accomplishments
o Assist business development staff with identifying project requirement.
o Analyze Project designs and Created QA Project Test Plans and Test Script for Test Engineers.
o Analyze file set that was required for Test Engineers Perform testing of the projects.
o Designs, develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes test results and makes recommendations. Documents test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyze and writes test standards and procedures.
o Define, configure, troubleshoot and maintain the QA test environment, which includes and is not limited to: creating environment plans, UNIX platforms, Oracle and MSSQL DB configuration, HP-Mercury/testing tools, Windows IIS, All of Micro Software Version, and other application issues that arise.
QA Program Manager/Manager of Operations, Rural Sourcing, Inc, Rock Port, MO, November, 2005 to December 1, 2006
Company Profile: Rural Sourcing targeted mid-tier companies with less than $500million in annual revenue with outsourcing services including staff augmentation and software development. As a startup, opening centers in economic development incubators in rural areas in Arkansas, Missouri, and North Carolina, RSI was able to offer IT services at 30% - 50% less than urban IT outsourcing firms.
My Role: Wholly responsible for company-wide project portfolio management. Assisted business development staff with identifying core business opportunities, qualifying prospects, face-to-face sales meetings, and closing sales. Created the Project Management Office. Performed project management on individual projects assigned to the Rock Port, Missouri software development center. Managed the day-to-day operations of the Missouri center with a staff of 5-10 programmers.
Key Accomplishments:
o Developed iterative/collaborative software development approach that integrated the client into every step of the process greatly facilitating buy-in from stakeholders and reducing scope creep.
o Established an adaptive development process which provided the flexibility our project teams needed to support clients with divergent internal management processes.
o Created a project management process that could be easily duplicated as new centers were added. The key elements included templates, estimating tools, and step-by-step project work packages.
o Facilitated a fun, creative and innovative work-culture that promoted both esprit-de-corps and high performance through an open, benevolent approach to personnel management.
o Championed the creation of a quality assurance practice which grew into a successful vertical.
o Introduced Microsoft’s Agile Scrum project management methodology providing greater visibility to project team leads and reducing “surprise” project slippage by more than 50%.
o Collaborated with senior management to establish and implement forward-leaning strategic business initiatives.

Company Profile: Services to various clients for direct mail services and printing.
My Role: Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of 7 programmers, Administrator of NT network, Managed & Maintain 3 LAN Servers, determine requirements needed by the clients, then design, code, tested, and implemented the programs in GMC, coded new programs in Visual Basic and Micro Focus Cobol as need, coded new programs using Group1 mail stream software, managed file processing as need for the clients need.
Key Accomplishments:
o Instituted weekly functional design reviews bringing programmers and end-users together creating a more intuitive software design and development process.
o Produced a scalable step-by-step operational planning template to facilitate the management of programmers and clients.
