Installation of automatic gates (sliding and swing gates)
• Implemented core tools of QS 9000 – Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Process Decision Program chart (PDPC) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Performed a quality check for the materials used in manufacture of gate leafs
• Responsible for analyzing and implementing Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical procedures for gate motorization and installation
• Prepared ad hoc reports for gate installation projects and on-site engineering for clients
• Designed and developed diagrams and charts on material handling, machine utilization and process workflow based on industry floor layout
• Completed my project on “Manpower Allocation for Productionizing New Model in an Existing Line using MOST®
• Optimized process parameters using MOST technique
• Created a lean production line, combining work steps to improve product flow
• Performed motion and time studies to minimize any waste in unnecessary motion
• Implemented lean manufacturing concepts such as Kaizen, Kanban, 5S and Just in Time for a more flexible and multi skilled production work force
• Identified potential bottlenecks to production and developed methods to reduce and prevent these impediments to efficiency
• Key member of logistics/planning processes in support of business unit’s initiative of make to order
• Attended training workshops in Supply Chain Management, 7 Quality Control Tools, 7 Management tools, Design of Experiments, 5S, Poka-Yoke, SMED, JIT delivery, QS 9000, TQM, SAP (ERP Package), Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
