The customer can use the software to configuring features and upload them into mobile devices.
Responsibilities:
Closely worked with customers and developers, wrote test cases covering all features as required.
Ran test scripts, recorded issues and tracked defects in Quality Center. Also participated in UAT.
Follow quality control process, monitored fixing progress, reported and analyzed test results,
Used automation tool to do regression tests, wrote VB scripts to create automatic test mechanism.
Environment: .Net, C#, XML, Web Service, Perl, Linux, Oracle, Firmware, VBScript, and QTP.

Quality Engineer
The Equos project was a wireless lighting control system for office buildings and supermarkets. The software could program the light automation to turn on/off, dim down/up, group/divide, sensor to action or daylight. It could save material, energy, and labor. The automatic schedules increased facility safety.
Responsibilities:
Organized test activities, created test document format, and wrote test plans and test cases.
Created Traceability Matrices to verify all functions are performing as documentation required.
Ran test, recorded bug, tracked defect, assigned issue to developers for fixing, and analyzed quality.
Participated in firmware program, and network monitoring. Set test environment with TCP/IP,

The project was a business application in Web. The software helped customer to make a template of configuration for ordering. The orders could be approved by account managers and financial officers online and sent to process center. The project helped reducing process time seventy percent.
Responsibilities:
Contacted customer, reviewed requirements, created test plans, and organized resource.
Defined test scope, coordinated test activities, assigned tasks, scheduled time, and checked status.
Hosted weekly meeting, checked progress, tracked defects, analyzed test results, and wrote report.

2002-2004 Configuration project QA Engineer
The project was a configuration application. The software automatically configured station products, such as GSM, CDMA, AGPS, and UMTS. After user entered their requests into system, the appropriate parts and quantity as a model would be selected and listed. The parts were guaranteed to be assembled.
Responsibilities:
Wrote test scripts, ran the test scripts, verified the functionality of models working as required.
Wrote SQL script as needed to validate the correction of parts lists and their quantities.
After verification and validation, recorded test results, traced defects, verified issues fixing status.

2000-2002 Order to Cash project Test Engineer
The project was a delivery and financial system for producer from taking order to financial office receiving cash. The system made the whole order processing automatically. The order cycle was reduced from 60 days with original manual processing to one week. The high productivity increased product market share.
Responsibilities:
Wrote test plans and cases for Pricing and Quote functions of the system.
Ran integration test, system test, and regression test for the functions and system.
Used issue tracking tool to provide real-time feedback to developers, also created automatic test.

February, 1997 to September, 2000 Allstate, Inc. Northbrook, Illinois
1997-2000 Agency Desktop project Software Developer
The project was developed for insurance agency and customers. Agent or customer could quote, purchase policy, pay premier, and claim accident online. The software was used nation-wide, increasing the sales about twenty percent, saving sales labor about thirty percent.
Responsibilities:
Reviewed requirements, defined and design functions, participated in setting development standards.
Coded the quote function, did unit test and Peer Reviews to group developments.

1997 Distribute Leads project Application Professional
The project was to buy leads from third party to distribute them to the local agency. The agents loaded the leads with this software to initial new customer and traced existed customers for increasing the sales.
Responsibilities:
Defined the leads scope, designed user interface, and wrote codes to user interface side.
Coded the distribution functions, ran unit test, and participated in customer accept tests.
