Work History:
1986-1988 Reynolds, Smith and Hills Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities included development of microprocessor based, system and application level process monitoring, control and data acquisition software writen in Assembler and C programming laguages for the MIcroVax II and PDP-11/23+ machines. I was involved in the field startup of a microprocessor based distributed control system for a 1000 ton/day resource recovery facility. Additionally I participated in the design and implementation of a control system for a water treatment plant featuring mulitple PDP-11/23+ micro-computers.
1988-1990 Technology Applications Jacksonville, FL.
Designed and implemented a raw data pre-processor and communication client/server application to receive data from a Nuclear power plants computer and pass this data to a variable number of remote clients via an EtherNet network. The data was used in operator training scenarios
1990-1995 CSX Transportation Jacksonville, FL.
Designed and implemented an application written in C++ to route incoming calls to approximately 350 customer service agents. The application interfaced with an AT&T Definity Communications system Generic 2 digital switch and company’s SYBASE database to retrieve customer information based on information (ANI and DNIS) provided by the switch. This application was written using a C++ class library that was also written by me that included; extensive container classes, SQL interface, date/time, string and iterator classes.
2002-Present Self Employed Jacksonville, FL.
Working independently with .NET since BETA to develop applications for personal use. Currently using VS2005 to learn and develop Web applications for local businesses and of course myself.
