QA Analyst (Consultant)
Coper - IPRO is a Web based Application. IPRO is integrated Party Request Online. It's used to accept new request details from Sales Trader and ultimately after various checks, assign Coper Id's to the clients. Before assigning the Coper Id, it goes to various stages for approval. These approvals are required to better understand the client based on the USPA Act announced by US govt. Before the Coper Ids are assigned, it also checks for listed clients by OFAC. This application is most important initiative in Merrill Lynch as this is used to uniquely identity the clients across Merrill Lynch with whom they do business. (By assigning unique Coper Ids)
Responsibilities:
Analyzed the business requirements and system specifications to understand the application.
Instrumental in Test documentation (Test plan, Test cases, Test Data, Test Scripts) for Create Organization/Individuals.
Involved in Functionality Testing of the Coper application and the IPRO system.
Developed Test Scenarios with Test data to support Test Requirements.
Involved in designing the Test Plan and Test cases and maintained in Test Director.
Involved in executing the Test Scripts and reporting the Test Results in CMXTRA.
Worked closely with development team in resolving bugs and verified and closed bug reports once they are resolved.
Test design and its execution by creating and maintaining the test environment for getting the right results.
Executed Sanity Check, Performance and Regression Tests as and whenever required.
Planned and Managed Test schedules using Release Dates.
Delivered QA for the enhancements for the USPA/OFAC interface and interaction between onsite and Offshore.
Deployed Roll Out and Roll Back Scripts on QA environments.
Participating in Bug review and QA weekly status meetings.
Reported and maintained Development Tasks, defects/bugs using CMxtra.
Responsible for delivering the Data Validation and sign off for functionality of Workflow of requests between various stages like Ipro user, Sales manager and finally DMG User.

Developed Online application for Account Management of Various Account Holders for those who own an account with Prudential Financial Inc. Site is designed to provide an easy and efficient way of navigation for user to maintain activities provided with following options, Provisioning, Transactions, Planning, Personal Information and provision to change their personal information.
Responsibilities:
Analyzed Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Software Requirements and Use Case Documents.
Prepared Review reports.
Involved in creating Test Plan and Test Cases Document based on the functional documents.
Developed Test cases for each functionality specification to ensure quality performance.
Created GUI, Positive and Negative Test Cases.
Modularized test cases by creating Data Tables that deal with different sets of data.

Storage Management Appliance was developed to be converted into general purpose windows server for the storage area network. SMA supported storage software as CVEVA boxes, Business EVA and open view Storage Area Manager. The SMA also supported third party software as Microsoft patch qualification, Norton antivirus, VERITAS Net backup. The SMA was in the maintenance stage and was supported for any new builds with the third party clients or storage software.
Responsibilities:
Wrote test cases based on Business requirements and functional documents.
Developed Test data matrix for test cases.
Performed execution of test cases manually to verify the expected results.
Creating testing metrics using MS-Excel.
Performed Functional, Regression test for all critical transactions.
Contributed to company by training and mentoring new joiners.
Tested SMA (Storage Management Appliance), SWCC (Sanworks Command Console) and some internal projects.
Improved and enhanced the storages (SCSI, Fibre Channel, iSCSI) software HP OpenView Storage Management Appliance and HP Open view Network View.
