Role : QA Engineer.Currently a team member of the automation testing team, which involves developing automated test scripts using QTP and execution of the automated scripts.
OSIRIS is the pricing and risk management system for the Exotic Interest Rates and FX Derivatives business. It is an in-house system developed at ABN AMRO.The system supports Pricing, deal capture, risk processing and operational processes of exotic derivatives. It is also responsible for the production of the official EOD risk batch. The system supports up and Downstream business units, such as derivatives marketing, trading, operations, and product and risk control functions. The core instruments are FRAs, Options and Swaps. The application supports a combination of these which is the basis for exotics. The underlying assets are predominately Interest Rates and Currencies. OSIRIS is in a constantly dynamic state, with new releases being issued frequently to add functionality and to allow for the processing of new products.

It is a web-based system which enables customers to transact and view their account details online. The purpose of EOD is to provide an integrated customer experience for Global Online Consumer Banking that includes global online consumer banking functionality, email and alerts functionality, consumer bank portal toolkit and authentication and credential storage system. The scope of EOD Product Testing & Automation is to test the regional and global applications for NCC bank for various countries. Focus is on testing the Internet banking application for country specific protocol & functional requirements.
Responsibilities:
Regression testing, sanity testing and STR/PCR verification.
Preparation of bug reports and updating of PCTS for STRs (bugs) raised
Documentation and review of deliverables - test case documents and checklists
Assist team members in resolving the issues faced while testing.
Consolidation of bug reports, Analysis and verification of the tests carried out.
Co-ordination with the requirements team for documentation of test case documents
Review of test case documents written by team members

The project involved the migration of ISBN (International Standards Book Number) from existing 10 digits to 14 digits.
Responsibilities:
Impact Analysis performed on the code to find out occurrences of ISBN in Batch reports, online screens and external files.
Report Generation and Bug Tracking
Preparation of unit test cases for the online part of the applications.
Preparation of Test JCLs and test data for testing the COBOL programs after conversion.
Adding new code to the existing code in COBOL to carryout the expansion.

It is a migration of Informix Database to sql server 2005 Database, which includes migration of queries, stored procedures, triggers, cursors, etc.
Along with code written in Delphi 7.0 has been re-engineered to make it sql server compatible.
Responsibilities:
Deploy Vision Enabled in a windows environment through IE, Host on IIS.
Migrate Vision Optimum and Vision Setup code successfully from AIX to Windows and Informix to SQL Server, so that application may run successfully in synch with SQL SERVER.
