Job Description:

ITs a network Logo
 The Field Applications Engineer will work closely with Development Engineering, Aircraft Systems Engineering, Sales and other Product Support personnel, providing onsite support for new installations and problem resolution in ongoing field installations of products and at times may also supplement in-house Product Support Engineers, providing telephone and email support to customers utilizing current products and services. The field applications Engineer will travel extensively to customer sites in the performance of these duties.

¨ Assist Technical Publications personnel in the generation of documentation, as required, to support application of products including, but not limited to:
Ø System descriptions and operating procedures
Ø Test specifications and reports
Ø Operating Manual, User’s Guide and Component and Aircraft Maintenance Manual modifications
Ø Service Bulletins
¨ Provide training on products and systems to various customer personnel.
¨ Completes complex tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision.
¨ Will travel extensively to accommodate above duties.
¨ Associates degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
¨ MCSE, CCNA or similar certifications.
¨ Familiarity with the Linux operating system is necessary.
¨ Familiarity with aircraft systems and equipment is desired
