Job Description:
Under the direction of the Director, Project Finance, responsible for financial planning, forecasting, accounting, reporting and business analysis related to the global deployment of the Oracle G12 platform. Duties include but are not limited to business case development and analytics, capital appropriation development/support, preparation of the budgets, plans and interim forecasts, process design and standardization, project accounting requirements, month end accounting requirements, asset capitalization, project cost control and post-mortem analytics. This position operates in a matrix environment supporting the needs of Information Technology and BE Finance as it relates to the global deployment of the Oracle G12 platform.
* Lead business case development and analytics for the Oracle G12 project. Works cross-functionally with other disciplines and business partners.
* Responsible for CAR administration and development (global, regional and country levels) for the Oracle G12 project.
* Responsible for all planning, forecasting and budgeting requirements related to the Oracle G12 project globally.
* Responsible for designing the project accounting system and establishing uniform project accounting guidelines.
* Coordinates project accounting requirements globally with regional finance leads to ensure compliance with uniform standards.
* Monitors of individual G12 projects on a recurring basis. (project performance vs. budget, estimate costs to complete, funding authorization request & requirements, benefits achieved vs. projected, etc.)
* Serves as focal point for process documentation and standardization for assigned projects as it relates to accounting and finance deliverables.
* Updates business cases on a periodic basis (ex. Oracle, SG&A). Assesses project performance vs. original targets, business plans and forecasts.
* Aligns with business partners and other finance team members serving as the finance escalation point for decision-making purposes for accounting and finance requirements.
* Serves as focal point for Corporate Tax on aligning with tax strategy requirements. global implementation and compliance.
* Other projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned.
