Job Description:
Client is seeking assistance from functional consultants to assist with the implementation of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS) student system modules as subject matter experts. The implementation will include these major modules: Admissions, Student Records, Student Finance and Financial Aid. This is not exhaustive and other functional and technical needs may arise. A conversion of existing students within the same instance of PeopleSoft, and a CS implementation for the College of Law will also be required as a part of the implementation. To provide project management through a full-time project manager and an executive steering committee. While this is primarily a request for functional consulting, may need assistance on technical consulting at various points in the implementation.
Background Information: An institution within the System with a undergraduate and graduate student enrollment of approximately 2,000 students with 60 faculty members. Will implement CS version 9.0 in conjunction with the Portal version 9.0, on an Oracle database 11g version. This implementation will be in a manner that incorporates student-focused service priorities and best practices, and is flexible for the future student. Currently has a process evalutation and improvement program underway. This process will guide the implementation. Client processes currently have been customized in order to accommodate the Federal requirements to keep together for financial aid purposes until accredited separately.
Scope of Work: Expert level system and business knowledge is critical to the success of the PS/CS implementation. Functional consultant(s) with working knowledge of each of the process areas will work closely with the PM, stakeholders, technical staff, and end-users from each of the functional areas to provide guidance and assistance with system configuration, student conversion, processing, testing, reporting, fit-gap analysis and knowledge transfer. The implementation will be a phased rollout.
