Job Description:

Individual will be responsible for installation, customer training and repair of instruments sold by our client with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

Install, maintain and support instruments in the field.
Frequent weekly travel.
Provide on site customer training.
Recognize when field service issues need to be escalated and take appropriate action.
Document service, installation and maintenance calls with complete reports.
Maintain sound knowledge of technology and understand customers’ applications.
Provide sales department with potential leads

Qualifications:

BS/BA in Chemistry/Physics/Material Science.
Minimum of 2 years advanced training or experience in electronic and mechanical principles.
Sound knowledge of PC operating systems and basic computer networks.

Skills:

Analytical mindset and drive to resolve open issues.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to perform effective system level troubleshooting
communication and interpersonal skills.
Drivers license mandatory.

Other info:

75% travel throughout the US

Good candidates have a strong science, medical device, instrumentation and controls background

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE: clean driving record, good credit, and good people skills with client
