TDK Global Account Manager – San Jose
Lead all aspects of TDK's involvement pertaining to Cisco Systems, Inc. Including, but not limited to, the following:
Strategy and Implementation
Set the overall account strategy and tactics and lead the execution and promotional efforts of all major applicable TDK Products and new TDK product development for:
- Multilayer Chip Capacitors (11 code)
- Magnetics (24 and 36 code)
- Board Mount Power (30 and 34 code)
- LTCC products for WLAN (21 code)
* Coordination and close work with TDK Product Marketing Dept (PMD) and other TDK Engineering resources
Account Coordination and Communication
Organize and lead communication and coordination of efforts at all significant Cisco design sites:
- San Jose
- RTP
- Austin
- Richardson
- Boxborough
- Italy
- Florida
Organize and lead communication and coordination of efforts at all Cisco EMS partners in conjunction with TDK EMS sales teams (globally):
- Jabil
- Foxconn
- Celestica
- Solectron
- Ambit
- Inventec
Account Sales Analysis
Periodically assemble organize and report on the following as it relates to Cisco Systems Inc. and its EMS partners.
- Overall TDK TAM/SAM analysis
-TDK Share and competitor position
- Target Figures and Budget (if applicable) coordination
-Sales History and on-going results (via TDK sales to EMS partners)
- BOM analysis
Cisco Company and Organizational Understanding
Provide TDK with a detailed understanding of Cisco Systems and its organization including the following areas:
a) Overall Cisco organizational understanding
- Procurement (GSM)
- Design Engineering (Hardware services, EMC, Power Design, other)
- Manufacturing (Cisco Transformation Organization and Cisco EMS partners)
b) Procurement organization
- Lead TDK's effort to Cisco EMS partners based on Cisco's procurement policy
- Lead TDK discussions/negotiations on strategic topics and technologies (commodities)
- Manager of AVL - TDK and competitor position
c) Cisco company Financials including Market position (share) in key product areas
Experience:
Minimum 5 Years OEM sales experience with a large organization preferably in a Key or Strategic Account Manager or Senior Account Manager role. Documented successful track record. Working knowledge of MS office suite.
