Sr. Staff Analog Design Engineer - San Jose, CA

As a Sr. Staff Analog Design Engineer in this group, you will have the opportunity to utilize your analog/mixed signal skills to design, simulate and provide support for various high accuracy analog/mixed signal products developed in our Analog/EE technology. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to and work with other design teams within Memory BU in Company and develop product synergistic with MCU applications.
Experience
• Theoretical and practical understanding of analog circuits suitable for designing in CMOS processes as well as device physics and control theory
• Experience in designing linear LDO regulators or
• Experience in designing switch mode power regulators, boost and/or buck or
• Experience in designing LED driver systems
• Experience in managing layout for on-chip output devices for switch mode power regulators in the 1+ amp range
• Experience in designing op amps, comparators, current mirrors, active-loads, voltage regulators, charge pumps
• Familiarity in designing configurable PTAT references (bandgap and current references)
• Familiarity in designing ADC/DAC design (preferably Delta/Sigma)
• Familiarity with Flash and/or EE non-volatile process technologies is a plus
• Fabrication process variation impacts and performance
• Silicon debug experience
• Initiative, innovation, good communication and team player
• Floor planning for analog layout blocks
• EDA tools including Cadence and/or Mentor Graphics design frameworks
• Linux/UNIX platforms
Requirements
• 10-15 years analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design
• MSEE preferred
• Good verbal and writing communication skills
• Self motivated
