Job Description:

Title: Oracle DBA with good RAC experience and architectural exposure.
Duration: 6 Months+ Contract or Contract to Hire or Fulltime
Location: New York City
Interview: Phone and F2F interview.
Work Authorization: Citizen/GC/EAD/ TN Visa / H1 Transfer.
REQUIRED Skills:
• 10+ years in IT – DBA role with good RAC experience and architectural exposure.
• Should have RAC experience.
• Candidate should be well versed with Oracle 10G database and preferred to have multiple database administration experience in the past (SQL Server and MySQL).
• Certifications are a definite plus. Person should be able to architect, administer and support databases hands-on in a multi-node clustered environment
• Person should understand system level impacts wrt database changes, design fail-over scenarios.
• Strong communication is an absolute must along with consultative line of questioning to users and IT Systems technical folks.
