Junior to Mid level Position
Programmer-Analyst capabilities with 2-4 years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Requirements and General Skills:
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Programming Skills:
• Experience in Java applications programming.
• 2 plus years required for the following.
• Proficient in standard programming concepts (Object Oriented), procedures and practices.
• Experience with Hibernate and Struts Framework Knowledge of programming for the J2EE platform with EJB, Servlets, JSP and JDBC.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Integration Developer.
• Experience with integrated development environments and tools like Eclipse.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Familiar with relational databases like ORACLE and proficiency in SQL.
• Knowledge of Struts.
• Knowledge of HTML, JSP, and Servlets.
• Knowledge of XML, WebService (SOAP and WSDL).
• Knowledge of X12.
• Knowledge of AIX.
Education:
• Minimum Bachelors degree (computers/ Experience in computer related field).
• Masters degree is preferred.
