SAP Project Manager II
The SAP Project Manager is responsible for managing IT projects from a
delivery perspective, including managing the software development life cycle
and defining requirements, development and implementation, testing, quality
assurance and knowledge transfer. In addition, the SAP Project Manager will
ensure IT initiatives adhere to corporate standards and methodologies. This
position provides the opportunity to play a key role in developing and
leveraging the company's SAP capabilities and resources.
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
This position requires an SAP Project Manger with a minimum of 3-5+ years
hands-on experience.
At least one full life cycle implementation as a project manager using a
structured methodology.
PMP certification is a plus.
Hands-on configuration knowledge of any of the following modules SD, MM, PP,
FI, CO is preferred.
Manufacturing operational exposure is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities ...........
.Define direction and requirements to
ensure timely implementation of new project/programs and the related cost
information for use in pricing strategies.
.Devise creative solutions to critical customer and user needs.
.Establish team effort focused on project goals and objectives.
.Provide guidance and support to team members proactively anticipating and
overcoming obstacles.
.Set high standards to achieve objectives.
.Integrate corporate initiatives into project plans.
.Provide project management office and Information Technology senior
leadership team with regular project performance status, variances to plan,
and identification of corrective actions (if required).
Job Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or computer related discipline
required. 8-10 years total experience. 5+ years as a Project Manager. 40
additional credit hours of formal Project Management courses or equivalent.
Project Management certification (PMI, or other).
