 CSG Systems is currently looking to hire a Senior Distributed Network Engineer for our Omaha, Nebraska office. CSG Systems is a dynamic and growing company of experienced professionals who provide software solutions for communications and entertainment service providers. CSG’s software applications include customer management, order management, service request/trouble management, billing, collections, and e-commerce applications that work together in a variety of configurations.

Summary
Installs, maintains, documents and diagnoses hardware/software problems associated with CSG’s campus-wide network for production and development environments. Performs under minimal supervision on significantly complex scope. Repairs network components. Highly involved with network security administrative and reporting activities. Resolves customer performance problems that are intermittent and/or chronic in nature.

Requirements
• Bachelors Degree Equivalent Experience required
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience
• Ideal skills include: Excellent IT knowledge of networking technology (i.e. TCP/IP protocol, diagnostic tools, OSPF and BGP is a must
• Understands network and server operating relationships/behaviors
• Ability to carry 7x24 pager
• CCNP level certification or higher
• Strong switching skills including Spanning Tree (STP) experience
• Firewall skills and load balancing preferred
