Web Application Developer
Established real estate technology firm seeks dynamic individual to fill key position. Ideal candidate will be as much at home in a board room setting as they are coding.NET web application solutions. Experience in full life cycle application consulting is required. This is not a “programmer” position; candidate will need to posses the communication skills and experience to work directly with management, executives, and fortune 50 clients in realizing their vision and application needs. Ideal candidate will have experience with BPM (Business Process Management) tools and techniques. A “Can Do” attitude with the skills to achieve it is required.
The scope of responsibilities includes:
Work autonomously to design, build, enhance and maintain components of our products using VB.NET / C#.NET application programming language
Participate in problem analysis with business users and assist in determining software solutions and enhancements
Maintain website interoperability with existing internal applications, internal scripts, external web sites and internal database systems
Design and coding of web services, windows services and libraries (.NET)
Integration of third parties components.
Maintenance of the integration/development platform
Diagnose and resolve application/configuration/code level technical support issues
The position requires:
Proven ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET programming Object Oriented Programming (OOP) & Design patterns
A strong interest and knowledge in Microsoft .Net framework (Microsoft .NET 2.0 Expert - Microsoft .NET 3.5 Expert)
Minimum three years SQL database design and administration. Strong knowledge of Relational Database concepts (MSSQL 2005/2008)
SQL Analysis, Integration, and Reporting Services are major pluses.
A strong understanding of software architecture (multi threading, design pattern, configuration and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC))
Basic understanding of CSS, AJAX, XML
Ability to work in a multi cultural environment
Ability to manage multiple and competing objectives, demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change, ability to prioritize and juggle to consistently meet multiple, short deadlines
