VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.
VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Senior System administrator for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skillset required:
Install and configure servers, hardware and software as necessary to support operating systems, applications, and databases in a distributed computing environment.
Strong Experience in virtualization and blade servers(IBM is preferable)
Strong experience in Storage (EMC is preferable)
Strong knowledge and experience in Security Standards
Knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems
In depth experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Administration preferred Active Directory 2008 and Exchange 2010.
Hands on experience in management of Window based Network Infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, WINS), Remote Access Servers, installation, configuration, and trouble shooting of Microsoft & Linux Server Class OS.
Should be able to prepare RFPs & Evaluate vendor responses
Should be able to prepare SLAs
Experience in a remote support environment.
Hands on experience in management of Linux and UNIX servers are preferable.
ITIL certified or working knowledge is a plus.

Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as needed to support planned and unplanned network maintenance.
Thoroughly document procedures and maintain technical documentation.
Experience Required: 8+ Years.
Qualification: Should be a graduate in Computer Engineering degree or equivalent (4 years) is preferable
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4week)
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the government Organizations in Qatar.
