VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for System Administrator for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Required Skills:
1. Windows Servers 2008, 2003 (Installation, Configuration and Trouble-Shooting).
2. Active Directory administrations, users, OU and Group Policy implementation.
3. TSprofile, Roaming Profile, Folder Redirection experience.
4. NAS and/or File Share Permissions
5. VMWare (Installation, configuration, Migration, Trouble-Shooting).
6. Unix/Linx Server Administrators.
7. MS Cluster, RHEL Cluster will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to the monitoring of operating systems and network performance, and the overall quality of service provided by the operating platforms, including Windows and Unix, and their constituent hardware, software, transmission services and support functions
Assists in performing defined tasks related to the planning, installation, upgrade, operation, control and maintenance of operating systems and platforms for communication of data
Provides ‘first level’ support to incidents and problems which have a low to medium degree of urgency and impact and determines the appropriate course of action and escalation
Investigates and reconciles violation reports and loggings generated by automated policing mechanisms
Contributes to the definition of user needs for new access rights and privileges, and administers logical access controls relating to one or more platforms in order to provide a continuous and secure access service
Undertakes research to develop recommendations which meet user requests, and delivers appropriate platform solutions
Contributes to the implementation of the Platforms strategy by monitoring the system specifications for operating systems and platforms
Supports the development, monitoring and communication of organization’s standards and guidelines for Platforms operations and services, including validation and error correction procedures, processing rules, access, security and audit controls, recovery routines and contingency procedures
Collects and analyses data on software and operating systems performance to provide change recommendations and capacity planning recommendations
Drafts accurate and timely reports on Platforms operations and related activities, vendor / system performance and customer satisfaction
Maintains and updates disaster recovery plans according to agreed IT analysis methods, tools and techniques for identifying potential exposures to network and operating systems which support critical business processes
Carries out other duties as required
Required Experience in : Minimum 3Years.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – UAE and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in UAE.
