 Are you ready to join a dynamic organization offering outstanding opportunities for growth and success? Applied Card Systems, a diversified financial services Company, seeks a dynamic JAVA Software Developer to join its Information Technology division.

Duties Include:
· Design and code applications in a corporate enterprise environment, in a structured manner, following the Company’s SDLC.
· Write technical specifications and create flow charts for projects.
· Modify software to improve business rules and practices.
· Internal testing of programs (self-written or written by other developers) prior to QA, with appropriate documentation that meets Company standards.
· Assist in the facilitation of JAD sessions with the business.
· Communicate with technical writers to provide project documentation.
· Assist in interface efforts with legacy, Internet and CTI systems.



Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
· Three (3) years of experience of web and Java based application architecture knowledge and practical, hands-on experience.
· Experience with two or more of the programming languages: RPG, CL, COBOL, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, HTML, ASP, or VB.
· Experience with two or more development methodologies: J2EE, .NET, XML, UML, CGI, MS Internet Services, or WinNT Administrative tools.
· Understand middleware concept; experience is preferred.
· Technical background with knowledge of SQL/Oracle and/or relational database systems in AS/400 and/or Client/Server environments.
