Are you ready to join a dynamic organization offering outstanding opportunities for growth and success? Applied Card Systems, a diversified financial services Company, seeks a dynamic Client/Server Support Manager to join its Information Technology division.
Duties Include:
· Ensure the timely completion of all Client/Server Support help tickets.
· Supervise the daily tasks of at least three direct reports.
· Ensure the daily monitoring of all supported systems.
· Ensure the completion of appropriate backup jobs.
· Ensure that daily maintenance tasks are completed.
· Ensure 24-hour on-call support for all Client/Server supported systems.
· Review status of projects and troubleshoot efforts.
· Be responsible for the project deliverables with an emphasis on quality, productivity, consistency, and the timely completion of the project.
· Review performance reports of servers to ensure proactive measures are taken towards upgrades and problem diversion.
· Review status of new patches and software versions that may have been published throughout the month.
· Maintain the departmental Preventive Maintenance plan as requirements change and determine the need for implementing them.
· Review Technical details of all projects to ensure alignment with current and future technologies.
· Perform audits of Client/Server Support system configuration.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
· Six (6) years of progressive client/server and management experience.
· Advanced project management skills and strong leadership and mentoring skills.
· Specialized skills in key infrastructure solutions (IE. SQL, SNA, IIS, Proxy, etc.).
· Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP.
· High-level knowledge of applications troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
· Advanced knowledge of backup system and related procedures.
· Advanced server and workstation class hardware trouble shooting skills.
· Advanced knowledge of Windows Domains.
· Capability of configuring servers from both a hardware (including advanced RAID configurations) and software perspective.
