 Position Requirements
Linguists must read and write the specific foreign language at a fluent or native level. Linguists will research foreign and domestic websites and must be able to produce reports in a specified format and may be responsible for populating spreadsheets. As required, linguist will gist, summarize and translate foreign language printed, electronic or audio/visual material into clear, understandable and idiomatically correct English. All candidates must be familiar with the culture, media and language of their target area. Linguists will be required to perform analysis Internet derived information. Shift work may be required.

Qualifications
All applicants must be US citizens.
Active TS/SCI clearance - Willing to qualify for a FS Polygraph - CI Poly is okay
Recent language test scores of 3/3/3 minimum are required.

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 1 year prior translation required.

Advanced computer skills, familiarity with MS Office Suite and ability to type. Should have advanced skills with the Internet and various search engines. Experience in a scientific or research field is highly desirable.
