Group Engineering Leader - Photo – North Carolina


Responsibilities
• Managing a small engineering group within a high volume, compound-semiconductor production Wafer Fab operating on a 24/7 production schedule.
• Responsible for leading development of new photolithography processes to support product and technology development of RF power devices.
• Individual will also lead sustaining engineering activities ensuring high quality and low cost products.
• Leads Process Engineering functional team providing technical guidance, strategic direction, mentoring and coaching.
• Responsible for Process Engineering performance management. Interacts with and acts as mentor to process technicians as they perform technical tests and process experiments.
• Recommends and prepares changes, additions, and modifications to process and process controls which will facilitate high-quality manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
• Will conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes in photolithography.
• Will be responsible to solve technical production and development issues working in conjunction with diffusion, deposition, wafer fabrication, and device physics personnel.
Requirements
• BS Degree in semiconductor related engineering.
• 8-10 years prior experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering with majority in photolithography.
