This position is located in our Tempe AZ office. As a member of the IT team for SL-Tech, the Hosted Services Administrator position is responsible for the overall performance and management of the company's ecommerce sites and associated network infrastructure. This position will interact with members of the SL-TECH Application Development team, and management to ensure the Company's SLA with its customers. The position will be charged with the responsibility of managing performance of the network, ensuring security and compliance with PCI standards, design and planning for capacity.
Position Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the IT Director, the position is responsible for:
• Directs and oversees Data Center operations, data network, servers and security systems, including all ongoing performance monitoring and tuning, hardware and software platform upgrades and information security.
• Co-location facility and vendor management to ensure optimum system performance, scalability and audit compliance.
• Manages the co-location LAN infrastructure, email servers, and internal requests for assistance.
• Develop and implement a disaster recovery and business continuity plan for the Co-location infrastructure
• Manage the timely and accurate resolution of technical issues including documentation of procedures and problem resolutions.
• Conduct routine maintenance to the network ensuring that it functions according to design and consistent with security standards. Maintenance will include items such as patch management, database administration, load balancing, virus upgrades, disk cleans and defrag, etc.
• Interact with Support Team as necessary to help resolve customer issues with performance of applications in the hosted environment.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
7 + years experience with Microsoft technologies.
Database management skills with MS SQL Server, SQL Reporting, SQL Clustering and Microsoft Sharepoint is required.
Experience with high volume, high profile, enterprise database operations.
Ability to work with business customers and application developers to manage data in support of business requirements.
Excellent communications and customer service skills.
Experience in network security governance, PCI, disaster planning and recovery.
VMWare ESX experience is required.
Minimum BS Degree with a concentration in computer science or equivalent experience.
MCSE is required.
MS SQL 2005 Certification is preferred.
