Job Description:

ITs a network Logo
 Start: Immediate
Duration: 3 Weeks
Location: Rockaway / Florham Park, NJ
Wrk Hrs: M-F 8a-5p
Business Casual - No jeans, slogan t-shirts or sneakers

The customer is experiencing poor performance when loading certain applications. They want us to investigate their current desktop/laptop environment and see if we can provide some recommendations on how they might enhance performance
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of performance factors affecting desktop/laptop environments
• Good scripting knowledge and skills
• Minimum certifications - MCP and A+
• Minimum 6 years of hardware experience including BIOS reconfigurations
• Minimum 3 years hands on working with Windows XP installation and troubleshooting
• Candidate must be able to configure device drivers
• Candidate must understand the Windows XP registry and be able to work comfortably with it.
• Prior PC Optimization experience is a must
• Candidate must and have excellent follow through, customer service skills, strong work ethic, results orientation and be able to work independently as well as within a team
• Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
