Detailed Description
Key Job Responsibilities:
Develop automated characterization, auto correction, and calibration routines for wireless test equipment exercising all three main areas. The calibration will include characterization, offset and mismatch compensation.
The responsibilities also include development of automated calibration software and test utilities for handoff to manufacturing, interfacing to the RF designers to characterize new RF designs for different wireless standards and for providing clear feedback for design improvements. This requires communication theory and design implementation experience.
Interfacing with the firmware team to develop Matlab interfaces to incorporate C firmware code developed by the firmware team.
Qualifications:
Experience performing detailed RF measurements using Vector Signal Analyzers, Vector Signal Generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
Understanding of receiver and transmitter system design.
1-3 years experience developing software in C and/or Matlab and/or LabView.
Experience in interfacing with test and measurement equipment via Matlab preferable.
A Masters in Electronic Engineering.
