Implementation Manager

Our client, the nation’s leading healthcare services company, is currently looking for an Implementation Manager to join their team in Newton, MA. As the Implementation Manager you will be responsible for running the Advanced Diagnostic Management (ADM) Services and Implementation team. In addition, you will be a key member of the executive team that serves providers, health plans, and labs by delivering a leading edge healthcare content and technology solution. Your proven experience building teams, working together with team members, hands on customer facing skills, and technical acumen will make you valuable contributor to our organization

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build, mentor, and lead the team of individuals who work in ADM Services
• Build and guide documentation, processes and tools for services to standardize and improve the efficiency of implementations
• Own the technical project plan for customer implementation; exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results
• Provide system capability training to customers
• Support existing customer implementations as customer issues are reported
• Provide continuous feedback to product management about improvements in customer-facing capabilities and services
• Support pre-sales activities with ADM sales opportunities
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical implementation experience
• 5+ years of experience directly managing a services or implementation team for a growth oriented technology company
• 8+ years of managing deployment teams or deploying technology solutions
• 2+ years in health care information technology or services
• Previous experience with Internet based software applications
• Experience working strategically and tactically on a high performance team with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
• Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of financial planning and budgetary management
• Excellent project and program management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Technical experience with XML, SQL, TCP/IP, FTP, Web SaaS architecture
• Technical experience with XSLT, Oracle DB, EDI, HL7, X12 a plus
