EZ Search Services, Inc has a client based in the West Palm Beach FL area, which is seeking to hire a Business Unit Leader on a direct basis. This position offers a competitive salary, relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package. Email resume for immediate consideration.


Responsible for assuring that the engineering processes, quality requirements, and the integration of manufacturing & quality for all of the assigned programs are sustained to meet the company’s quality objectives.



· Assure that all customer requirements are manufactured to world class quality levels, measure and plan quality improvements.



· Manage the customer interface required to handle concurrent engineering required, and communicate cost and delivery pertaining to the respective product.



· Provide guidance to Technical Leader in assigning projects to the engineering personnel and the prioritizing of those projects, to include cost estimating.



· Work with the Supervisors, Production Control and the Shop Floor personnel to assure customer deliveries to eliminate delinquencies and obtain service level goals.



· Develop and execute, with the team, the plans required to meet business metric cost requirements to maximize product profitability.



· Develop market awareness and promote company visibility efforts.



· Be responsible for all aspects of assigned NPI projects.



· Measure inventory levels and sustain an active plan to control inventory levels by monitoring raw

material schedules and reducing product cycle times.



· Hire, appraise, train, promote, coach and when necessary, terminate employees.



· Control and reduce all expenses related to the business unit.



· Responsible for all EH & S (Environmental, Health & Safety) requirements within the facility.



· Serve as a liaison for the team and senior management.



· Participate and support the negotiations and approval of the product contracts.



· Develop and foster a team environment.



· Maintain awareness of state-of-the-art technology within our core process.



· Requires independent judgment in making decisions that have economic impact to the company.



· Requires making decisions that impact hiring and terminating employees.






EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

B.S. Degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience in a related field. Has the requisite computer skills and is familiar with Lean Manufacturing, 6 sigma, technical product knowledge highly desired, and demonstrated leadership experience.
