Senior .NET Architect-Developer
The Desktop API / Excel Integration team is looking for an experienced .NET senior developer to play a leading role in the design and engineering of the next generation of integration platforms and services. Our development teams build desktop products utilizing Windows Forms, WPF, COM working with scalable robust service oriented architectures built using .NET 2.0 & 3.x (C#), C++, Microsoft Office, web services and Windows platform technologies and management tools.

Experience and ability to contribute to the architecture/design from White Board concepts to production is very important as well as OO skills… Will be important if someone has strong C++ background - Strong software architecture background.

Must be extremely talented technically with deep understanding of C#, .NET (specific features), Threading, OO (polymorphism, Inheritance etc…)
Must have deep understand of technology deep OO, .NET and the Future (WPF, WCF, .NET 3.5)
Group prides themselves in utilizing Best Practices, clean code, and variety of latest Design Patterns.
Must Understand middleware must know how .NET is built
Understanding of the latest/greatest technologies i.e. Net 3.5 – Will work with and research the newest bleeding edge technologies
Deep Multi-threading is required – thread pools etc…
You will be:
-Pioneering the next generation of .NET for this Microsoft group
-Designing and building successful Windows products
-Strong OOD/OOP skills, and experience applying modern design patterns
-High-performance multi-threading in Win32 and .NET.
-.NET architecture (CLR, GC, and C# programming)
-Web Services, WCF and multi-tier distributed systems
-MFC, ATL, STL and COM technologies
-NET UI platforms (WinForms and WPF)
Qualifications
5+ years designing and building successful Windows products.
Strong OOD/OOP skills, and experience applying modern design patterns.
Experience with .NET architecture (CLR, GC, and C# programming).
Experience with .NET UI platforms (WinForms and WPF).
Experience with Web Services, WCF and multi-tier distributed systems.
Experience with high-performance multi-threading in Win32 and .NET.
Working knowledge of MFC, ATL, STL and COM technologies.
Ability to estimate, plan, lead and execute complex technical projects
Strong methodology experience and the ability to contribute to the core architecture design from White Board concepts to production and delivery is key.
Must have deep OO skills coupled with strong C++ background
25 person group ***could move into lead for projects of 4 or 5 people*** Tremendous growth potential!
An ideal candidate will be from a top school and have relevant experience. Please note, this is a full-time employment position and telecommuting is not an option. We are not seeking a consultant.
