Client will sponsor qualified Senior Architects from the USA only. Wants people from Social Networking perferable.

Urgent must match the role closely tell us how in a cover letter.

Per Client - screening potential candidates, please ensure they meet the following technical requirements:

o Understand basic web concepts (such as the web request process, where cookies live, etc.)
o Be able to express technical details in written form.
o Be able to effectively compare web technologies.
o Be able to evaluate and see the value of existing code bases or well designed code to support maintainability and code evolution through versioning.
o Understand the software development life cycle: the purpose of code lockdowns, testing cycles, and change requests.

- Integrating with other systems
- Integrating with other environments
- Security
- Scalability


Leadership:
o Represent his team and the team's technical solutions.
o Work with the team to help meet the deadlines.
o Take ownership of team's technical developments
o Collect the requirements, set priorities for the internal and external teams, make sure things are get done on time.
o Be on top of the day to day progress. Make sure the components of what was being produced met what was needed.


Basic Concepts

1. Familiar with Memcached.
2. Understanding of Web caching systems.
3. Extensive use of Javascript/Javascript libraries
a. JS library examples: YUI, Dojo, Prototype, Scriptaculous, JQuery, MooTools. Write down what they used and a few points the candidate provides.

4. Knowledge/experienc with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
5. Knowledge/experience with Web widgets.
6. Understands Decorator and Fa?ade software patterns.
7. Undersands the REST API?.
8. Understands the main methods in HTTP.
9. Understands Object-relational mapping
10. Experience with SQL?
11. Experience/understanding with non-relational databases?
12. knowledge of unit testing and any unit testing frameworks.
13. Source code management
14. Understands Wiki and bug tracking systems
15. Experience with Java Web frameworks


Strong knowledge of PHP/PHP Web frameworks. Which ones do they use and which ones do they consider the best and why?

Experience
1. What was the largest Web site you worked on? What was the number of users? How much data did it store? How much data did it process per user and per minute?
2. What was your personal contribution to creating that site? (Design, implementation, testing...)
3. Do you have any experience in system administration on Unix/Linux and Windows servers? Can you set up a Linux server with possibly a database, and an application server?
