Sr. Telecom Engineer
Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the planning, design, implantation and optimization and supporting of Cisco ICM and IPCC Enterprise along with other hardware and software to support these systems, including the configuration and deployment of Cisco voice gateways and servers. The telecom group also provides hardware and software support of regional telecom, voicemail, and call center systems including analysis, application development and database administration.
Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement Voice/ACD/LAN/WAN services and connectivity, specifically Cisco Unified Call Manager and Cisco IP Contact Center. Will create, set up, diagnose, debug, and repair Cisco IPCC system and scripts, ICM system and scripts, Cisco Agent Desktop, and their integrations.
• Function as a network and voice engineer for network planning and implementation. Identify areas of improvement, and propose solutions to resolve.
• Propose and implement system and network changes and upgrades.
• Maintain network data centers, wiring closets, cabling, servers, consoles, switches, routers, etc.
• Monitor network and systems health, responding appropriately to network alerts and events.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot voice and network issues.
• Assemble and configure switches, routers, firewalls, servers, cabling, and related equipment for data centers.
• Document systems, projects, and installations.
• Provide assistance with end user support and trouble tickets
• Adhere to Change Control, Change Log, and Downtime Reporting procedures for all critical services.
• Flexible schedule allowing network maintenance during off-peak hours (late evening and weekend work as necessary).
• On-call rotation.

Minimum Requirements:
• Implementing and troubleshooting ICM and IPCC enterprise systems.
• Experienced in Cisco Voice XML a plus
• Define clear and concise client business objectives
• Define a clear and concise Scope of Work
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Microsoft office applications

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related fields.
• Certifications: CCNP and/or CCVP and/or CCNA and/or CCIP.


Experience:
• Minimum of three (3) years IT industry experience
• 1+ years of advanced networking experience
• 2+ years of converged networking experience including Cisco CallManager implementation experience.
• Must be familiar with and possess demonstrable experience with Voice over IP, call management, messaging, and computer-telephony integration.
