 Senior Systems Developer - Chicago

C++ Position I mentioned earlier. This is exclusive and I'll get immediate feedback

Our client is seeking an experienced Linux C++ developer to join our client's technology team.

Your focus will be:

Optimizing our FIX connections and to write gateways to new markets;
Creating, enhancing and troubleshooting a variety of trading and strategy systems;
Driving the full development lifecycle; and
Interfacing with professional users during the iterative development process.

Requirements:
7+ years experience with Linux C++
5+ years developing client server applications
C++ frameworks, i.e. Boost, ICE and ACE

Experience programming with TCP and UDP protocols and tools
Architecting: quote servers, FIX gateways, order/position management
Sense of urgency that comes with a trading environment


Quantitative skills: Data analysis and statistical algorithms
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Extra Credit:
Turned on by entrepreneurial environment
Experience with Ubuntu
Trade, Futures and equities experience is the key ******
