RETIRED/FORMER MILITARY
We are seeking former and retired military personnel with training background and experience with mortars for Operational New Equipment Training (OPNET) and Maintenance New Equipment Training (MNET) services and provide New Equipment Training for the following systems: M95/M96 Mortar Fire Control System (MFCS) - Mounted, M150/M151 Mortar Fire Control System - Dismounted, M32 Lightweight Handheld Mortar Ballistic Computer (LHMBC), M326 Quick Stowed System (QSS), M120 and M121 120mm Mortar Systems including the M313 120mm Sub-Caliber Training Insert, M252 Mortar System and M224 60mm Mortar System.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct oversight of a training team of field instructors during conduct of OPNET/MNET (Sr. Instructor).
Responsible for execution of training mission including scheduling and coordinating training sessions with individual field units
Making adjustments to changes in training schedules and ensure team availability.
Recommend changes to, and responsible for updates to the Mortar System Programs of Instruction.
Fielding teams will operate from:
Fort Drum, NY Fort Bragg, NC
Fort Benning, GA Fort Campbell, KY
Scholfield Barracks, HI
Requirements:
· Exhibit mastery of objectives to be trained (training objectives are identified in the POI).
· Ability to train course training objectives.
· Must be a graduate of the Infantry Mortar Leader's Course.
· Combat Lifesaver Certified or provide record of prior certification received.
· Range Safety Certified or provide record of prior certification received.
· Ammo handlers Certified or provide record of prior certification received.
· Pass a Gunner's exam and an FDC certification. (OPNET)
· Participate in one OPNET instruction session. (OPNET)
· Renew Instructor Certification for new POI releases, or if instructor has not taught within 1 year.
· Pass MNET certification exams. (MNET)
· Audit one MNET instruction session. (MNET)
· Must communicate effectively in writing and orally.
· Must communicate effectively with all types and levels of organizations, both internal and external.
