Your Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for new development, defect repair, and enhancements to Philips radiation treatment planning systems and related software. The candidate will be expected to work effectively in a disciplined software engineering environment following medical device industry design controls specified in the FDA Quality System Regulations and similar guidelines. This includes rigorous requirements management, design, source code management, and module and integration testing. The candidate will be able communicate effectively and work well with teams from other disciplines such as customer support, quality assurance, and technical publications.
Your Profile:
BS degree (MS preferred) in computer science/engineering or a related technical discipline
Minimum 3 years experience in a software engineering role
Fluency in C/C++ programming in a UNIX environment is required
Experience in a scientific applications environment is strongly preferred
Experience developing Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Imaging Systems is strongly desired (this could include knowledge of PET, CT, and MR application domains and industry standars (DICOM, IHE, HIPAA)
Experience with C#/.NET development using Microsoft Visual Studio is also desirable
