Candidate Responsibilities
We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience developing advanced medical imaging applications. Job responsibilities include design, implementation and testing of client and server software components in an iterative agile software development environment focused on on-time delivery. Qualified candidates should have an in-depth understanding of Image Analysis, solid understanding of the clinical application domain, as well as basic knowledge of the Healthcare Enterprise IT infrastructure (including DICOM, HL7).
Specific skills include:
5-10 years of Software Development experience
• Strong programming skills in C++, Win32 API, MFC, ActiveX, DirectX, STL
• Experience working in multi-tier development environment
• Extensive experience in image processing, preferably in medical domain
• Experience with progressive compression algorithms
• Working knowledge of medical informatics issues
• Experience with Windows GUI development• Strong programming experience with .NET, WPF preferred
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science
