Job Description:

ITs a network Logo
 Key Role:
Support military systems analysis by utilizing the OpNet Modeling tool to develop and test large scale network models. Define development plans for modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks based on an understanding of communications networks. Develop and configure analytical and discrete models to study communications networks. Develop portions of client deliverables based on knowledge of telecommunications, military networks, or network simulation. This position is located in Falls Church, VA



This is a temp to perm role. Initially, you will be working with other members of the capacity planning team to develop the network model (expected to take approximately 90 days). Following the development and test cycles, you will demonstrate and train the other team members regarding the maintenance of the model and provide life cycle support.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis

-2+ years of experience with OPNET Modeler, including Modeler, SP Guru, and IT Guru

-Experience with leading a communications modeling analysis effort

-BS preferred

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with NETWARS or OPNET products

-Experience with the military networks (not required)

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
