 Sr. Flash/ActionScript Developer

Our client is an energetic, growing software company located in Bellevue seeking an experienced Flash/ActionScript developer for a contract-to-hire position. Good contractors are the people we most often hire for full-time positions, so a strong candidate will probably stay.

Your primary responsibilities will be to develop Flash movies that fit into a larger Flash application framework. Heavy ActionScript use and dynamic data loading are key components to our system and are skills you must possess. The ability to analyze existing Flash movies and rapidly prototype effects is also extremely beneficial.

Successful candidates should have a minimum of 4 years experience with Flash and ActionScript programming. Photoshop and HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills are also required.

Technical Skills Required
• 4 years object oriented ActionScript programming (AS 3.0/2.0)
• Photoshop
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript programming
• Familiarity with Flex and/or WPF is a bonus

Experience
• Self-starter capable of managing their own schedule and seeing a project through every stage of development
• Aggressive problem solver with a creative approach to solutions
• Experience working independently within a small team
