RF Applications Engineer – SoC/ATE - San Diego



Description:

Seeking a Senior SoC/ATE Applications Engineer with 8+ years experience in the design, test and evaluation of SoC/ATE semiconductor devices.

The candidate must be an expert in SoC/ATE devices, test methodologies and the design, architecture and application of ATE in the test and measurement of such devices. Previous experience in the creation and verification of complex custom test programs is a requirement.



Requirements:

• strong digital signal processing (DSP) techniques
• C/C++
• Windows based ATE test program development skills
• working knowledge of CAD/CAE tools for ATE systems
• candidate must have circuit analysis, analog and SoC/ATE circuit design, layout and verification experience
• knowledge of devices and testing methodologies for Voice-band, Baseband, Broadband and High-Speed Serial devices is a plus
• hands-on working knowledge of spectrum/network analyzers and sampling oscilloscopes
• high-speed transmission lines and radio frequency waveform behavior is required
• experience in device characterization in a lab environment
• strong communications skills, marketing capabilities, presales and post-sales experience and project management are all required



Education Required:

BSEE, with MSEE or higher preferred



Compensation:

$120-130K DOE
