Job Description:
A qualified candidate will have 5+ years experience in the design and development of custom applications with recent, direct experience working with Microsoft .NET Windows Forms applications developed in C#. Relevant experience includes strong hands-on object-oriented development of windows applications, strong UI design and implementation, as well as, database design and execution. Past projects completed by a qualified candidate must exhibit a high level of creativity and problem-solving. This position will primarily support existing systems and implement enhancements according to new business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that production systems are always available, troubleshooting production problems and fixing defects as prioritized by management
Maintain and enhance existing product capabilities
Provide after hours support
Code system enhancements according to technical specifications provided by the technical lead
Work with project and technical leads to implement solutions to support complex business requirements
Write detailed technical specifications and as-built documents
Adhere to departmental application development procedures and standards
Skills Profile: C#, Windows Forms, ADO.NET, Web Services, Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server, TransactSQL, XML, XSLT, UML, MSMQ
Other:
Solid understanding of client/server and web based applications
Solid understanding of relational database management systems
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and effective program change control
Strong problem resolution skills
The ability to create positive and professional business relationships with internal and external clients

Experience/Knowledge:
5+ years software design, architecture, and development experience
Recent hands-on experience building Windows Forms applications utilizing C# in Visual Studio .NET
Experience using Web Services and ADO.NET to access SQL Server databases
Experience with Transact-SQL to write custom stored procedures, functions and queries, in order implement complex business logic
Education:
BS in Computer Science/Mathematics
Skills required are:
Windows forms development using C# NET Framework 1.1. The qualified candidate must have very recent experience in this area.
